Amy Schumer Gets Real About Being Afraid Returning To Work

As we've seen through her pregnancy and the early stages of her life as a mom, Amy Schumer doesn't hold anything back.

In fact, Amy should be praised for being the most honest celeb mom on social media. When things are hard, she says it, when things are ugly, she shows us, and when she's afraid, she admits it.

Most recently, Amy shared her fears about returning to work for the first time after welcoming her son Gene five months ago.

Amy shared a sweet photo of she and Gene, and wrote about how she loves him so much it hurts, like "all moms." And then she opened up about her experience with being a working mom with a young son at home.

"I was so worried about it and was afraid to go back after he was 3 months old. A couple days I’ve cried from missing him. But it’s mostly good to be back."

Amy also shared that being able to work gives her "breaks" that "energize me to be a better mom and appreciate our time even more."

That is something I can absolutely relate to! For me, it's so important to still have my career. And for some, it's more important, or makes more sense, for them to stay home full time. Those moms who stay at home, I give MAJOR credit to.

Amy also commented in the post on having "interests and ambitions and goals" and I hope all moms who might be feeling guilty about going back to work will read her post and understand that it's okay to still have all of those things, even if they are now shared with their interests, ambitions and goals for their kids.

Basically what I'm saying is... Amy should hold a master class on being a working mom. Because I feel like she REALLY gets it. And we need more people like her out there being honest about the different emotions of motherhood.
