This past September, Coldplay wrapped up their record-breaking tour with a series of shows at the iconic Wembley Stadium in the UK, and as a special treat for fans, iHeartRadio brought a taste of the incredible concerts straight to fans during iHeartRadio LIVE with Coldplay.
During the exclusive broadcast event, fans got to hear Coldplay perform some of their biggest hits live to the massive stadium full of fans who were singing along with the band's Chris Martin, including hits like "Clocks," "Yellow," "feelslikeimfallinginlove," "All My Love" and "A Sky Full of Stars."
Fans can look forward to seeing more of the Wembley Stadium shows, because on December 30th at 2pm ET/11am PT/7pm GMT, Coldplay will take over the new Arena in Meta Horizon with a free event, "Coldplay Music of the Spheres World Tour: An Immersive Experience," produced in partnership with iHeartMedia. Fans can get amazing views of Coldplay's "Music of the Spheres World Tour," exclusively via the Meta Horizon mobile app on iOS and Android and in VR on Meta Quest. RSVP now to receive updates ahead of the event.
In a statement, Coldplay shared of the upcoming concert experience, "Wembley Stadium is just a few miles from where we played our first gigs, so we're very grateful to Meta and iHeart for bringing this special hometown concert to people all around the world — as if they were right there in the stadium, but in the comfort of their own homes."
The "Music of the Spheres" World Tour, in support of Coldplay's Music of the Spheres album, set a Guinness World Record as the highest-attended tour of all time, with one stretch of shows in Ahmedabad, India being the largest-ever stadium show of 21st century with more than 223,000 fans attending the concerts for both nights.
