Sinkhole Reveals A Wine Cellar Abandoned 100 Years Ago

A sinkhole at a British golf club has revealed a treasure of sorts. The sinkhole opened up at the 13th hole and revealed a wine cellar that was forgotten for 100 years. It’s believed to have been part of Davyhulme Hall manor house, which was demolished in 1888. Interestingly, the discovery was on the part of the course known as The Cellars. Only empty wine bottles were found.
