Topo Chico fans may have noticed their favorite fizzy mineral water missing from store shelves, and there’s a good reason why. The Coca-Cola-owned brand has temporarily paused U.S. production while upgrading facilities and wells in Monterrey, Mexico, where the water has been sourced since 1895. The improvements are meant to boost long-term quality, stability, and production capacity, but they’ve created a short-term supply gap. The good news is that flavored Topo Chico drinks and canned cocktails are still available, and the classic mineral water is expected to return later this year.
