A California couple recently won $1-million after purchasing a lottery ticket while getting change to tip for a pizza. McKinley Nelson, 72, and his wife stopped at a liquor store near the pizza place and bought two tickets with a $100 bill, one of which turned out to be a big winner. After scratching the winning ticket, Nelson confirmed their win with the California Lottery app. They plan to use the prize money to pay off their home, buy a camper van, and travel to visit family across the country.
