Gracie Abrams brought the magic to the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday (March 17) evening, performing a smash hit from her sophomore album before accepting one of the most prestigious awards of the night.
The star slayed the stage with "That's So True," featured on 2024's The Secret of Us, and had the crowd clapping to the beat of the music as she serenaded the Dolby Theatre like all the greats before her.
The "I Love You, I'm Sorry" artist won Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and thanked her fans for their loyalty and creativity, in addition to artists she's shared the stage with including Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, and Noah Kahan to name only a few.
Abrams opened for a handful of Swift's iconic Eras Tour shows in 2023 and 2024 and referred to the opportunity as a learning experience, revealing that she felt like she was "floating" when she and Swift wrote "Us" together.
The "Close To You" star got sentimental during her speech, drawing attention to rising tension and cruelty across the nation and the power of music to bring people together and dispel negativity.
Top nominees for the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards included Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Kendrick Lamar, Morgan Wallen, and Post Malone, to name only a few stars recognized for their contribution to music.
Other artists who took the stage at this year's show include Bad Bunny, GloRilla, Kenny Chesney, Nelly, Billie Eilish, and Muni Long.
