Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen won the 2024 Associated Press NFL MVP award during the 2025 NFL Honors event in New Orleans Thursday (February 6) night.
Allen threw for 3,731 yards, 28 touchdowns and six interceptions on 307 of 483 passing, as well as 531 yards and 12 touchdowns on 102 rushing attempt, while leading the Bills to a 13-4 record in 17 regular season starts. The Bills quarterback edged Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who won his second AP NFL MVP award last year, by a 383 to 362 vote margin, with Allen receiving 27 first-place votes, 22 second-place votes and one third-place vote, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Allen is the third Bills player to win the AP NFL MVP award following Pro Football Hall of Fame running backs O.J. Simpson (1973) and Thurman Thomas (1991).
