Researchers Share Five Keys To Living Longer

If you want to add years to your life, Australian researchers are happy to help. A study, led by Griffith University in Australia, is spilling the tea on what they believe are five healthy habits that can add up to 11 years to your life. The results of the study show that these habits: eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly, maintaining a healthy weight, not smoking, and drinking alcohol in moderation, have about twice as strong an effect on life expectancy than previously reported. Moving the body actually created the best results. Researchers found that people who followed these habits had a significantly lower risk of dying from cardiovascular disease and cancer… which are the two biggest killers. The good news is that the team says it's never too late to start making changes.
