Carly Rae Jepsen is feeling the "Emotion" as she prepares to walk down the aisle and say "I do" after her longtime boyfriend Cole M.G.N. proposed.
The "Call Me Maybe" singer confirmed on Monday (September 23) that she is engaged to her now-fiancé in a post on her Instagram, showing off her stunning and unique ring — a gold band with a dark gemstone — alongside sweet photos of her and her music producer partner enjoying time together in a gorgeous countryside setting. According to TMZ, the 38-year-old "I Really Like You" singer have been romantically linked since November 2022, months after meeting while working on Jepsen's 2023 album The Loveliest Time.
"Very engaged over here 💍❤️," she captioned the post.
Last year, she spoke to People about how their relationship bloomed into something more while working together, even making a feature on the track "So Right" with a "meet-cute" skit about hanging out together after work.
"I would've been too shy beforehand to be like, 'Do you want to do a skit at the beginning?' But now that we're so close, it was just really fun and playful to be like, 'Let's have this very '80s drama skit at the beginning where you ask me if I should cover over and I say, no but then I come anyways,'" she said at the time, adding, "You have to get to a certain level of comfort with somebody before you can get to those really playful, joyful, experimental places."
