Sharks In Brazil Test Positive For Cocaine

You’ve heard of “Cocaine Bear”…then came the B-movie “Cocaine Shark.” Now, however, that whole cocaine shark thing is for real. In Brazil, researchers have discovered “trace amounts” of cocaine in 13 Brazilian sharpnose sharks. It seems that cocaine is making its way into the ocean in several different ways, including “inadequate sewage treatment facilities” and “stray packets” of booger sugar being “dropped into the water by smugglers.”
