New York volunteer organization Long Beach Clean Up is out with a list of the weirdest things that they’ve cleaned up on the beach. Founder Matthew Crosta says for him it was the La-Z-Boy recliner. Here are some of the other “treasures” that have washed up on the beach:
- exercycle
- ankle monitor
- a head of broccoli
- bowling ball
- dozens of messages in bottles
So far this year, the organization removed a staggering 1,855 pounds of trash.
