Fans may be getting new Adele music very soon, according to a recent report. Earlier this week, a source revealed to The Sun that the Grammy winner "has secretly been writing and recording new music for the past year." While we're used to Adele's songs dealing with the darker shades of love, this time, we may actually get songs about the singer being in love.
The source added that she was "inspired by finding love with her American sports agent fiance Rich Paul" and that these new songs are her "most uplifting and positive songs ever." The rumored surprise album is reportedly in talks to be released later this year. The exciting rumor comes amid Adele concluded her "Weekends with Adele" residency with the news that she will be returning to Las Vegas with another string of shows.
“Playing to 4,000 people for 34 nights is not enough, and I know that, so I am coming back,” Adele told the crowd, per Billboard. “I’ll be back for a few weeks in June, and I’m going to film it and I’m going to release it to make sure that anyone who wants to see this show can see it.” She added, “And then I’ll be back from the summer. Back in August until the end of fall.”
The supposed new record, which would follow 2021's 30, may tie in with her return to the Vegas stage. As for her muse, Rich Paul, the two were reportedly secretly engaged in February and are making plans for a summer wedding.
