Ariana Grande Finally Gets Her Grammy In The 'Mail': See The Selfie

2019 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival - Weekend 2 - Day 3

Ariana Grande is "really glad" she checked the mail the other day — 'cause her Grammy finally arrived!

Not that we think you forgot or anything, but in case you did: Ari won the first Grammy Award of her career at this year's ceremony. Her 2018 album, Sweetener, beat out the likes of Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes' self-titled LPs, Kelly Clarkson's Meaning of Life, Pink's Beautiful Trauma, and Taylor Swift's Reputation.

It's been five months since then. So, naturally, when her mailperson made the special delivery on Tuesday (July 17), Grande couldn't wait to celebrate the victory properly on social media. "Really glad i checked the mail," the 26-year-old jokingly captioned a cute selfie of her posing with her first Grammy.

Her manager, Scooter Braun, had the pleasure of presenting the "Light Is Coming" musician with her trophy that same morning. "This right here is family. I couldn’t have been prouder this week to deliver this one her very first Grammy," Braun wrote of Grande in a picture shared to Instagram.

He continued: "There is no one more deserving and this is truly the first chapter of her epic story. She is an icon living and is exactly who she claims to be. Yes she is now and forever more Grammy award winner @arianagrande but to me she is simply Ari... one of the strongest people I know with a heart of gold. Proud of you Ari!! Love yah."

As you know, Grande ditched the 2019 Grammys because the show's production team reportedly would not give her authority over which song(s) to perform at the ceremony.
